Southeast Drift Union: Round 4

The fourth and final round of the 2017 Southeast Drift Union series took place alongside U.S. Drift and it’s Midwest Drift Union sister series at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio. Only fiver drivers registered to drive and only four made it to competition, making it the first time either itself or MDU went directly to a top four. A Day With Southeast Drift Union: What To Expect

As we prepare for our inaugural round of the newest Formula Drift Pro-Am series in the country, we’d like to take a minute to layout the general scope of how things will go based on our staff’s experience running Midwest Drift Union events since 2010.

We follow a straightforward format similar to many other Pro-Am and grassroots events. After everyone gets checked in at the gates and get everything unloaded, tech inspections will begin. Our lead safety/tech expert, Brad Foy, will inspect every car to make sure it meets our requirements and address any questions drivers may have concerning vehicle configuration.
